Players take on the role of a royal steward tasked with restoring the war-torn lands of Alvaris. Each region presents new challenges, requiring careful planning to rebuild infrastructure, revive settlements, and reclaim lost territories.
Restoring the Land, One Village at a Time
Each map represents a different part of the kingdom, with unique main structures:
A Manor in the heartlands
A Monastery in the highlands
A Fortress in borderlands
A Harbour in coastal regions
Players gather resources, assign workers, and rebuild key buildings to make each region self-sufficient.
Rebuilding Trade Routes to the King’s Castle
Trade is essential to Ashenhold’s survival. As roads and bridges are restored, caravans begin traveling between settlements, bringing prosperity. However, trade routes must be protected from:
Bandits who seek to plunder supplies.
Unstable terrain that requires engineering projects.
Harsh weather that slows progress.
Restoring the grand roads to the King’s Castle is the final step in unifying the kingdom once more.
Defending Against the Shadows
Each settlement faces threats that challenge the player’s ability to maintain stability:
Bandit Raids – Organized groups attack supply lines and villages.
Cursed Creatures – Twisted beings born from the land’s corruption.
Famine & Plague – Natural disasters that test resource management.
Players must build military structures like barracks and watchtowers, arm their villagers, and prepare defenses to survive.
Unraveling the Mystery of the Curse
The war left behind more than ruins—it awakened an unnatural curse. To cleanse the land, players must:
Explore ruins and forbidden zones to uncover lost knowledge.
Find the source of corruption.
Build an altar atop the corruption’s source to purify the region.
Only by lifting the curse can the kingdom truly be restored.
